Cougar Turns Cougar

Coastal Bend College Second Baseman, Jordan Gochenour will be attending University of Houston to continue his education and playing career. The former Cougar recently signed his National Letter of Intent to officially become a Houston Cougar and play for his hometown while majoring in Business.

Coach Bauerle on Gochenour: "Jordan Gochenour had one of the best junior college statistics at the plate that I've ever coached. He led the team in Games started with 57, batting average with .427, led the team in Doubles with 15, Walks with 30, On Base Percentage In .542, and Slugging Percentage in .713. Jordan set the school record in Hits with 67 and 46 Runs Scored. He also finished third in program history with 43 RBI's and 12 Stolen Bases." Coach Bauerle also added: "Jordan will be greatly missed by his ability to hit in the middle of the lineup for us, obviously but we can't wait for him to succeed and do well at the University of Houston. Jordan has been a pleasure to coach while also being a Dean's List student here at Coastal Bend College."
