Beeville, Tx- Coastal Bend College Outfielder, Kyler Bumstead has recently awarded The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award® by the NJCAA Division III Baseball Committee.
In 58 games played during the 2019 baseball season, Bumstead posted a Fielding Percentage of 1.000. The Kountze native produced 91 Putouts while recording eight Assists on the year. Bumstead also performed well in the batter's box, averaging .280 for his Sophomore campaign and knocking in 28 RBI's on 51 Hits with eight Doubles and three triples.
The former Cougar will be attending The University of Texas at Tyler in the Fall to continue his education and playing career with the Patriots.
