Beeville, Tx- The Coastal Bend College soccer program has made an addition to their coaching staff for the 2019-2020 school year. Roger Peron joins the CBC Soccer program, bringing several years of playing and coaching experience to the club.
Peron played for Lassen Community College from 2015-2017, earning Academic All-American and reaching deep into the playoffs both seasons. Following his time at Lassen Community College, Peron, earned a scholarship to Mid-America Christian University, where he completed his collegiate career. From Mid-America Christian University, Peron saw the team progress to the best record in school history with a (NAIA) national championship tournament appearance.
Peron's accolades accumulated from MACU included NAIA Scholar Athlete, NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) Scholar Athlete and Academic All-SAC. Peron gained the bulk of his coaching experience from numerous club teams along the way and as an assistant coach at Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
