Beeville, Tx- Football season is right around the corner, here at Coastal Bend College! No, not "American Football", but Soccer!
Coastal Bend Soccer will start their season on the road with back to back matches in Dallas, Tx as they face Mountain View College and Richland College on August 15th and 16th, respectively.
The Cougars home opener will be on Friday, August 30th as they host Laredo Community College for the first Region XIV Conference match. This marks the beginning of a five game home stand for Coastal Bend.
Throughout the course of the 2019 season, CBC will face stiff competition with the likes of Tyler Junior College, who is ranked number three in the nation and Northeast Texas Community College. Both teams made the NJCAA National Tournament last year.
CBC Soccer will have plenty of new faces this year as they look to reload for the 2019 season. The Cougars return seven players from last season and feel confident in their leadership for the newcomers.
The CBC Soccer program has a new leader, Head Coach Adam Butler. Butler enters his first season with Coastal Bend. The England native expects hard work, quality performance and team work from his team. Butler aims for his team to play with complete confidence while being well prepared for each match.
