The Coastal Bend Lady Cougars rallied to get within four points in the first half, but a second half Lady Rangers surge in the second half sealed the deal for KC with a 76-48 conference victory Jan. 21 at Masters Gymnasium.
Nyla Inmon led the Lady Rangers in points with 14, notching a double-double by adding 10 rebounds.
Also in double figures for KC were Aaliyah Davis (12), and Aylanna Winn (11).
The Lady Rangers next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at home versus Jacksonville.
KC improves to 8-11 (2-4). The Lady Cougars drop to 4-14 (0-5).
