Men's Basketball Falls in Over-Time At San Jacinto

The Coastal Bend College Men's Basketball team made its final trip - ever - to San Jacinto College in Pasadena on Wednesday night.  San Jacinto College Men's Basketball programs is one of the most storied in the NJCAA having appeared in 20 NJCAA National Championship Tournaments and walked away with four National Championships; but will be discontinued at the end of this season.   For them, every home game is something special and Wednesday night was no different as they battled CBC in an over-time thriller.

The Cougars were led once again by Malik Amos who knocked down 23 points, while Dajuan Madden added 18.  Bernard Randle made an impact in a big way contributing a season high 16 points.  The nation's leading shot blocker, Edmond Franklin rejected 10 Gator shots in the losing effort.

Coastal Bend will return to the floor on Wednesday, February 28th when they host Lamar State College - Port Arthur at the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center at 7:30 pm.
