Coastal Bend Tame Lions in Re-Match

Saturday afternoon in The Den was the site for a re-match between two closely contested opponents. The Mountainview Lions looked to avenge their home overtime loss to the Cougars which took place eight days prior. "It's hard to defeat a team two times, especially when the games are so close together" quoted Interim Coach Brandon Martinez before the game. 

Coach Martinez was adament about limiting the turnovers that plagued them in the contest that occured in Dallas. The Cougars listened to the message and valued each possession enroute to a 82-69 victory over the fighting Lions. Leading the charge was Sophomore guard Caleb Hill with a 20 point outing, adding 4 assists and 0 turnovers. Ryan Moore also aided in the victory with 16 points and 4 assists of his own. Jeremiah Anderson put in a balanced performance with 6 points 8 rebounds and 5 assists. 

The wins improves the Cougars to 4-1 on the young season and keeps them undefeated in The Den. The Cougars will travel to San Antonio to play San Antonio College Tuesday November 14th.
