On Wednesday, October 19th, Ivan Perez was named National Player of the Week for the Division I level by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Perez netted five goals during his performance on Saturday, October 15th against Region XIV foe, Trinity Valley Community College. The Spain native had a total of nine shots, seven of which were shots on goal. Perez also accumulated two assists in the 17-1 victory. 

The second year Cougar scored in the minute 10th, 15th, 27th, 32nd, and 49th. Ivan now holds the record at Coastal Bend College for most goals in a single game. The CBC soccer team set multiple program records in the vicoty over the Cardinals; 17 assists for the match and largest victory in program history. Perez now has nine goals on the season. 

Coastal Bend is back on the pitch against #7 Tyler Junior College this afternoon, 10/19/22 in Tyler, Tx. The conference match is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM. Our Partners at TSRN will be live streaming the match.
