Beeville, TX- Coastal Bend College fell to UHV 6-3 on Saturday.

UHV got on the board in the top of the first inning after Lopez doubled, and Bolin tripled, each scoring one run.

Victoria added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Leighton doubled and CBC committing an error, each scoring one run.

In the third inning, UHV added one run after Bolin doubled on an 0-2 count.

Sophia Garza led things off in the circle for Coastal. The right-hander gave up 10 hits and six runs(four earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Jaymie Gonzales and Janice Corona were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for CBC. Gonzales, Corona, and Garza each collected one hit for the Cougars.
