The Region XIV women's basketball committee released the postseason honors for the 2022-2023 season in which Coastal Bend College's sophomore point guard, Shayla DeDe, was awarded All-Conference Honorable Mention. Shayla DeDe played in 27 of the teams 30 games. Dede led the conference in scoring averaging 14.6 points per game while finishing 22 of those games in double digits. Her season high of 24 points came from the win against LSU-Eunice. Dede also averaged 4.6 rebounds per game, 3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game which was the team high. She will end her coastal Bend Career with 394 points on the season.
