Though the volleyball season is complete, the program continues to make history in the form of All-Region accolades as voted upon by the coaches.
Cameron Del Angel and Lindsay Garibay were both named to the Region XIV - South Honorable Mention team this week. Del Angel a freshman outside hitter from Harlingen (Harlingen South High School), led the Cougars in Kills (176) and Kills/Set (1.87). Garibay the team's hometown hero from Beeville finished her career as the Cougars career leader in matches played and sets' played. On the season, she was second in kills with 150 and third on the team in digs with 269 from her outside hitting position.
