Though the volleyball season is complete, the program continues to make history in the form of All-Region accolades as voted upon by the coaches.

Emma Batte and Samantha Santos were both named to the Region XIV - South Second Team this week.  Batte a freshman middle hitter out of Houston (La Porte High School) led the team in hitting percentage, was third in kills (135), led the team in points scored (214), points per set (2.1), block solos (64), block assists (25) and blocks per set (.890), which she was second in Region XIV-South.  Santos a freshman setter out of San Antonio (Holy Cross High School) led the team in assists (748), assists per set (6.56), which she also lead Region XIV-South, service aces (42) and services aces per set (.37), which she was second in Region XIV-South.

Batte and Santos join team mates Cameron Del Angel and Lindsay Garibay on the All-Region XIV- South teams as they were named Honorable Mention.  The two Second Team selections are the most ever for the Cougar volleyball program.
