Coastal Bend College Volleyball (12-14) competed against Panola College and Tyler Junior College on the 18th and 19th of October.

The Cougars dropped 3 sets to the Fillies;  18-25, 18-25, 15-25.

Notables:

Sophomore, Cameron Del Angel had seven kills, one solo block and eight points.

Amber Willis recorded four kills and four points as well.

Freshman, Meadow Rodriguez stated 11 assists and seven digs for CBC.

Samantha Santos had three kills, six assists during the three sets.

Ava Johnson notched in four kills and five digs.

Alyssa Hutcheson recorded 14 digs

On Saturday, October 19th the Cougars fell to Tyler Junior College in three sets; 17-25, 23-25, 18-25 moving them to 2-5 in conference play.

Notables:

Santos recorded five kills, 11 assists and two digs.

Rodriguez had 11 assists and four digs.

Del Angel recorded seven kills and two digs.

Johnson produced nine kills, nine digs, and 10 points.

Hutcheson had 22 digs in three sets.

Jodi Linscomb with four kills, two solo blocks for six points.

The Cougars finish up regular season play at Home on the 25th and 26th of October against Lee College and Blinn College, respectively.
