Victoria, Tx-  Coastal Bend volleyball traveled to Victoria, Texas for a Region XIV Conference match against Victoria College. The Cougars clawed out their first conference victory of the season with scores 25-11, 23-25, 25-12, 25-21 veruses the Pirates. 

Leading stats from this match came from sophomore Setter, Leah Gonzales with 31 assists, 13 digs, and six kills. In addition, CBC Outside Hitter, Odalys Gonzalez had 15 kills, 18 digs, and five Assisted Blocks.  Coastal Bend Libero, Samantha Ward recorded 24 digs, while teammate and Middle Blocker, Caitlyn Jones notched in two Assisted Blocks and nine kills.  Middle Blocker, Ahna Merrell also recorded four Assist Blocks for the match. 

The Cougars put forth a strong performance in their win over the Pirates, improving their record to 11-10 overall and 1-7 in conference play.
