Garza played in 39 games as a Cougar and was not only a great teammate on and off the field, but a solid defensive catcher. Head Coach Stephen Machorro on Garza: "Alyssa was a wall for me. A hard working student athlete who has a contagious smile. Although it was rare to see due to her being locked in and focused. Garza knew how to lighten up the environment with her humor when her teammates need it. She is an all around great teammate to have and a tough competitor. I know she'll contribute to the Coyotes, who are lucky to have such a great individual."

Garza will be Majoring in Psychology with a Minor in Exercise Science during her tenure at KWU.
