The 2018 NJCAA Division III baseball season is four weeks old, and for the second time in those four weeks a member of the Coastal Bend College Cougars has garnered National Player of Week Honors. 

This time freshman, pitcher Michael Dinsdale from Pasadena (Pasadena Memorial High School) grabs the nation's top spot in the rotation for the week of Feb 12-18th.  Dinsdale captures the honor because of his one-hit, seven strikeout performance vs. NJCAA Division I Laredo Community College on February 13th.  Dinsdale pitched 5 1/3 innings of shutout baseball; surrendering three walks and only one hit.  

Dinsdale is the second Cougar baseball player to be named NJCAA Division III National Player of the Week as Ruben Supelveda took home National Position Player of the Week honors back on February 4th.
