Baseball Up Two Spots To Number 2 In Latest NJCAA Division III Poll

After a five game sweep of TCS Post Graduate Academy, CBC Baseball jumped two spots in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll into second and received one first place vote in the process.

The Columbia and Navy have been on a school record 18 game win streak and have run their record to 24-9.  The Division III poll includes two teams which appear on the Cougars' schedule.  CBC will travel to Dallas to tangle with #3 Brookhaven College, who also received a first place vote, on April 9th in a doubleheader.  CBC will then travel to take on fellow Region XIV member, defending Division III National Champions, and #6 ranked Tyler Junior College for a three game set on April 20-22nd.  Tyler then makes the trek to Beeville on May 3rd for a four game set.

Cumberland College (New Jersey) remains in first position with 65 points and a 15-3 record, while the Cougars garnered 59 points with Brookhaven right behind them with 56 points.  Rowan Gloucester and Bergen, both also from New Jersey, round out the top 5 with 44 and 31 points respectively.
