Beeville, Tx-   On Wednesday, June 28th the Coastal Bend College Baseball program will be holding their annual Summer Evaluation Camp. The evaluation camp will take place at Joe Hunter Field. 

Registration for the evaluation camp will take place from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The camp is scheduled to begin shortly after 10:00 AM. The summer evaluation camp will be run as a pro-style camp, 60 yard dash, velocity from outfield, velocity from infield, Catcher pop time, bullpen and batting practice.

All participants attending the showcase will need the following items: baseball pants and molded cleats, gloves, and bats. Catchers are responsible for their own gear. Participants will also need to bring a recent physical and any/all specialized equipment. Every Participant needs to bring a recent physical from within a year and sign off on waivers. Every Participant should also bring own water/water bottles.

Coastal Bend College, St. Edwards University, St. Thomas University, Our Lady of The Lake University, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley & Texas A&M University- Kingsville, will all be in attendance for the evaluation camp. 

The College's baseball team is a member of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) and competes in Region 14 as a Division I team. Interested participants must be a recent high school graduate, a senior (class of 2023), a junior (class of 2024) or a sophomore (class or 2025). In addition, athletes who would like to participate in the evaluation camp must not have signed a national letter of intent to play for another college or university.

Prospective athletes who will be participating in the camp will need to bring a recent physical and any/all specialized equipment (i.e. catching gear, gloves, bats) and complete a camp waiver form and camp liability form. Complete the prospective questionnaire here!
