Four Cougars Named All Region XIV
Beeville, TX-  Coastal Bend College has landed four athletes on the 2023-2024 Region XIV Conference Men's Soccer Team with freshman Ulisse Alberti earning first-team honors and sophomores Adam Murphy, Shay Prescod, and freshman Jaden McKree earning second-team honors. Following a stellar season, the Cougars went 10-4-3 on the campaign, obtaining a program record for conference wins in a season, with 10. Though the season came to an abrupt conclusion, with a home playoff loss to LSU-Eunice, the Cougars wil continue to build off their learning and playing experiences from this past season. 
 
The Swiss captain Alberti collected one goal, two assists, and one game-winning goal, on the road, against Blinn College in one of the most thrilling games of the season. Aside from numbers, Ulisse was a true captain both on and off the field. Many of his outstanding accomplishments were demonstrated off the field by inspiring and leading, by example the group.
 
The Trinidadian forward McKree led the Cougars in goals (8), and assists (5). He ranked one in the Men's Soccer Team in shots (39) and points. McKree also led the Cougars with four game-winning goals. McKree and So Nagano formed a lethal combination that caused confusion in the opposing defense. Throughout the season, they combined for 16 goals and 8 assists. One of the most talented Cougar's duos of all time.
 
The Irish captain Murphy, contributed with three goals, three assists, and total of nine points in the successful season. Murphy scored a game-winning goal in the Battle against Blinn College at home. Murphy, along with Brown, Paramo, and Ichikawa, was the Cougars' Registra during seasons, organizing and commanding the team in the middle of the field.
 
The Barbadian defender Prescod brought experience to the back line by continuing on his exceptional performance from last season and helping the Men's Soccer Team to one of its most successful campaigns in history. Prescod appeared in 15 games and had two assists. Prescod, Alberti, Bosso, O'Riordan, and Heidler were critical to the team's success.
