Vicente "Vinnie" Garza is a Beeville native. Garza graduated from A.C. Jones High in May of 2009. Upon high school graduation, Garza attended Coastal Bend College where he earned his Associates of Science Degree. After graduation, he transferred to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Garza majored in Recreation Administration and earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in the fall of 2013. Garza worked for the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department following graduation in January to June 2014 as an intern.

In July, Garza moved back home to Beeville and began working in the Eagleford Shale as a oil field technician until January 2015. In January, Garza decided to further his education and knowledge by attending CBC for a second time to earn his Level II Certificate in Petroleum Technology. During the last semester of his studies, Garza joined the CBC Athletic Department as a Game Day Manager. Garza continued working with the CBC Athletic Department and was named Sports Information Specialist in the summer of 2016.

During the summer of 2019, Garza was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director. Garza continued to serve as Assistant Athletic Director through May 2022. After completing his sixth year at Coastal Bend College, Garza was named Interim Athletic Director. Garza was officially names Athletic Director in January 2023.

In July of 2023, Garza was named the CBC Esports Director/ Head Coach. Garza has assisted with the program since the Fall of 2021, the first year of competition. He coaches and has experience with various games such as, NFL Madden, NBA 2K, Rocket League, and Call of Duty. 

The Beeville native looks forward to continuing the progressive transformation and growth of the CBC Athletic Program. Garza continues to assist and lead the Athletic Department by working on compliance, eligibility, game day operations, student athlete advising, website updates and articles on CBC athletic events and news.
