TJC men's soccer remains unbeaten with 3-0 win over Coastal Bend

Tyler Junior College scored three first-half goals in a seven-minute span to put away Coastal Bend 3-0 and stay undefeated on Saturday at Pat Hartley Soccer Complex.

Rooby Dalusma got the scoring started when he chested down a cross from Marcelo Da Silva Anton and volleyed home in the 15th minute.

Paul Odendahl made it 2-0 three minutes later off an assist from Michael Boakye.

Yudai Tashiro completed the scoring four minutes after that when Mohammed Kamara's shot ricocheted off the post back to Kamara, who played the ball back in for Tashiro to finish.

William Diaz made two saves to earn the clean sheet. The Apaches outshot Coastal Bend 15-7, including 4-3 on shots on target.

Tyler (13-0, 9-0 Region XIV) is back in action at home on Wednesday to play Angelina College at 7 p.m.
