CBC Men's Basketball Preparing for New Season
The Coastal Bend College Men's Basketball team is gearing up for an exciting season with the appointment of a new head coach, Brandon Martinez. Last year Coach Martinez served as the CBC Men's assistant during the Cougars historic 19-11 season. His first signee was his Assistant, Zach Naylor. Coach Naylor will enter his first season as a coach after playing professionally for the last 3 years over seas. Zach brings a lot of energy and playing experience to the Cougar's squad.

Some Key returners to watch for include 6'6 Sophomore Reyce Allen, and 6'8 Sophomore Sam Esan, both demonstrated their skills and leadership last season. Their experience will be invaluable in shaping the team's performance.

Additionally, keep an eye on the new players, particularly 6'3 transfer Trey Swayzer,  6'0  point guard Caleb Hill, 6'1 Sophomore Jeremiah Anderson, 6'5 Forward Keagan Moncrief and 6'4 shooting guard Ryan Moore. They are expected to have a high impact, bringing new talent and energy to the team.

"This year we're going to continue the style of play we had last year. We're going to be tough and scrappy defensively and we'll be looking to get out and run offensively. We've had a solid pre-season. Our guys are locked in and ready to get after it" - Coach Martinez

Under the guidance of Coach Martinez, the Coastal Bend College Men's Basketball team is poised to make strides in the upcoming season, and fans can anticipate an exciting journey as the team strives for another successful campaign.
