The Coastal Bend College soccer team traveled to Kerrville on Sunday, August 26th to take on Schreiner University bringing home a 2-0 win.

The first goal for CBC occurred in the 55th minute of the match when striker Sam Robinson popped in an unassisted goal off a rebound from a free kick from Enzo Guercio.   The second goal for CBC came in the 77th minute of the match when Guercio knocked one while in the six yard box during a scramble to put the Cougars up two goals to nil which held to the end of the game. 

Goalkeeper Matt Schorrocks faced two shots on goal the entire match allowing none for his first shutout of the year.

The Cougars enter Region XIV play this weekend on the road when they head to northeast Texas to face off with Paris Junior College on August 31st at 1:00 pm and Northeast Texas Community College on Saturday the 31st at 4:00 pm.
