Cougars Claw Bucs in Brenham
The Coastal Bend College men's soccer team won their match against Blinn College, late Wednesday night, 2-1. The win, gives the Cougars their second straight victory in Region XIV play. 
 
CBC tied up the match by a goal from  Owen Thomas. Thomas' goal was assisted by Hilal Khan in the 75th minute of the match. Thomas Williams put the Cougars in the lead with an unassisted goal in the 83rd minute. The Coastal Bend defense tightened up for the remaining minutes of the match to hold on to the lead. CBC Goalkeeper, Harry Scott recorded 5 Saves against the Buccaneers. 
 
Head Coach Adam Butler, on the Cougars play, "This was a good win for us as we are looking to get back on track. We still need to make necessary adjustments and improve in some areas, but we're headed in the right direction."
 
The Cougars move to 2-2-1 on the season, with a conference record of 2-2.  Next up for the Cougars they will host Northeast Texas Community College on Saturday, September 18th at 3:00 PM
