13 Cougars Achieve All-American Excellence

Charlotte, NC-  Earlier this week, The National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association announced the All-American Academic teams. Coastal Bend College had 13 student-athletes from the Men's Soccer program received honors. 

The Cougars to receive honors are: Felipe Rangel, Ognjen Vrkic, Shay Prescod, Daichi Santo, Tyler Stallard, Mario Hurtado, Reo Ichikawa, Jorge Oteiza, Jack Bledowski, David Boakye, Keita Kishino, Giancarlo Laste Pretto, Francisco Alvarez.

The NJCAA academic All-American student honors recognize the remarkable achievements of student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. These exceptional individuals showcase their dedication to academic excellence while actively participating in their chosen sports. To earn this prestigious recognition, student-athletes must meet stringent academic criteria, including maintaining high GPAs and completing a specified number of credit hours.
