Coach Stephen “Steo” Cummins comes from Dublin, Ireland. He lived in Dublin for 21 years before moving to Shawnee, Oklahoma to St. Gregory’s University. Cummins studied there for four years where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal Justice. Cummins played in the Sooner athletic conference for two years as he was only granted two years of eligibility. During his second year of playing they made the conference tournament final and he scored the most goals in conference that season with 18 goals. Cummins was also named NAIA national player of the week within that season. He also played for OKCFC in the PDL league for a couple of summers while staying in OKC.

After this he obtained a master’s degree in sports administration from East Central University, while coaching was his occupation. Cummins also obtained USSF E, D AND C licenses with former CBC head coach Adam Butler.

Cummins was the former Women’s head coach at St. Gregory’s University when unfortunately, the school closed down because of funding. After this he moved on to the Rose State college women’s team as assistant from 2019-2021. Cummins also took over as the men’s assistant from 2020-2021. Throughout this period, he was also director of soccer operations at Bishop McGuinness catholic high school and coached club at Southlakes soccer club.

From January 2022 Cummins took over Hesston College men’s soccer team as the head coach. They played four games in the spring and won all games. Cummins is excited and grateful for the opportunity that they gave him but stated: "This was too big of an opportunity to turn down" speaking of joining CBC.
