Beeville, Tx-  Wednesday, July 13th the Coastal Bend College Softball program will be holding a Summer Evaluation Camp. The evaluation camp will take place at Cougar Field at Veterans Memorial Park. 

Registration for the evaluation camp will take place from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. The camp is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. A live scrimmage will also take place for the participants and is scheduled for 1:30 PM. 

The cost per camp participant is $40.00. All participants attending the showcase will need the following items: softball pants and cleats, gloves, and bats. Catchers are responsible for their own gear. Participants will also need to bring a recent physical and any/all specialized equipment.

The CBC Softball team is a member of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) and competes in Region XIV as a Division I team. Interested participants must be a recent high school graduate, a senior (class of 2022), a junior (class of 2023) or a sophomore (class or 2024). In addition, athletes who would like to participate in the evaluation camp must not have signed a national letter of intent to play for another college or university.

Prospective athletes must complete a camp waiver form and liability waiver. It is highly recommended that each participant complete the camp questionnaire.
