Beeville, TX- Coastal Bend College couldn't keep up with Odessa College and fell 25-3 on Friday.

Odessa got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bernal and Cherry singled and scoring three runs, while Terpsma line out, scoring two runs.

Odessa College scored 12 runs on 11 hits in the top of the third inning. Kaaiakii homered twice, scoring five runs, Harvey homered to center, scoring two runs, Perez doubled, scoring one run, and Blazevich and Weber singled, both scoring one run.

Janice Corona homered to center field, scoring three runs in the bottom of the third for CBC.

Sophia Garza started the game for the Cougars. The righty gave up 19 hits and 21 runs (10 earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking four.

Kelsey Perez set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Coastal Bend with two hits in three at bats.
