The Region XIV Women's Basketball coaches announced their accolades for the 2019-2020 season on Sunday.  Sophomore Guard Marley Martinez has been selected to the 2019-2020 Region XIV Women's Basketball All-Region team as an Honorable Mention Selection. 

Martinez a scrappy guard from San Diego High School in San Diego, Texas let the Cougar defensive efforts this season by leading the team in steals with 2.7 pg, logged a team high 28.1 minutes per game while in playing in all 30 of the Cougar contests.

Martinez scored in double-digits in 22 games this season, averaging 12.6 on the season; including a 21-point effort on the road at Kilgore College on February 19^th.
