
Beeville, TX- The Coastal Bend College Women's Basketball Team has two games left in the regular season. The next game is on Wednesday at 5:30pm at Paris Junior College who currently sits one seed higher in the conference than the Cougars. Coastal Bend took the first matchup in Beeville by a score of 101-93. The final home game and sophomore day is Saturday versus Panola College who sits in sixth. The Cougars dropped the first matchup at Carthage by 13 points in a final 66-79. The Cougars are one win away from tying their best mark and two conference wins away from tying their best conference record.
A couple of other notes for the Cougars are they are fifth in NJCAA with 256 made 3-pointers on the season with two regular season games left. They have hit 10 or more 3-pointers 13 times as a team. JayDee Zamora leads NJCAA region 14 with a 3-point percentage of 42.9 and is 13th in the nation in the same category.
The Cougars would love for the support on Saturday March 9th at 2:00 PM here at Coastal Bend College to celebrate the sophomores and one of the most historic seasons to date for the Cougars.
